Music

Some people know, some people don’t, but some 40 years ago, the music I was performing was Cowboy Music.  I played in festivals and events all across the Southwest United States and  all the way to Canada. It was the authentic Cowboy and Western Music. I got away from that back in the early 2000s and started branching out in different directions musically, but I’ve always hung onto the Western Heritage of those songs, and I’ve always kept a few of them in the mix of music that I play now.  In the past few days, I came upon some simple recordings that I did, probably back in the early 2000s, of several  Cowboy Songs. 

So…. I’ve decided to have these mastered and start releasing a few on www.SteveSchick.com and probably to streaming outlets as well.  This is the artwork for the album. I used a picture from approximately 30 years ago when I was performing in the Pawnee Bill’s Wild West Show in the Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
